What to do and what not to do in a long distance relationship

Distance is something that really destroys relationships. You can't talk to your lover frequently, you can't meet him/her, hug and kiss them etc. and when you aren't around your partner starts searching for someone else. But there are tips for those who want to be in a long distance relationship.

Communicate frequently:

Talk to your partner as much as possible. You could use you phone, email, fax etc. but just stay connected as much as possible.


Send pictures of you both having a good time:

If you have pictures of you and your partner having a nice time then send it to him. Remind him that you do care about him and want to have him as your partner.



Show trust:

If your partner ever asks you if you trust him or not, let him that you do trust him a lot. Even if you hear a few rumors about your partner, try not to believe them and make sure to clear things in person.


Use phone for sex:

Since you aren't around, your partner might find himself or herself another partner to satisfy his/her sexual urges. So it's important you have sex over the phone. Try not to use your webcam since the digital world isn't really secure these days.


Send gifts and make surprise visits:

Make a few surprise visits and send a few gifts if possible. If you can send a note saying that you love him/her and care about him/her, then your partner will love you even more. Try to write something that will make him emotionally attached to you.
